Itinerary (subject to change)
DAY 1:
Departure at 06:00 a.m. from Wiesbaden, Hainerberg, Washington Str. corner J.F. Kennedy Str. bus waiting area (off post); Departure at 06:00 a.m. from Ramstein Shell Autohof bus parking lot (parking fee € 5 /day). Departure at 06:30 a.m. from Kaiserslautern P+R parking lot at Daenner Platz (near Kleber Kaserne); Departure at 9:00 a.m. from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX parking lot. Day one is reserved to drive south with breaks in Switzerland and Italy before we continue to our hotel in La Spezia.
DAY 2:
After buffet breakfast in our booked hotel we depart to discover three of the five ancient fishing villages. A short train journey will take us to Vernazza, one of the most poupular of the five towns. The tiny harbor is surrounded by colorful typical Ligurian houses. After free time for shopping we depart with the the train to the next village, Manarola. Manarola is one of the picturesque towns with its harbor and colorful boats. A short walk around the harbor up the coastal path will give you a perfect photo of this beautiful scenery. You'll have enough free time for lunch at one of the restaurants before we continue and depart for Riomaggiore. After free time we meet again and drive back to our hotel by train and by bus. The evening is free for own activities and dinner.
DAY 3:
After breakfast and check-out, we depart for Pisa. Here your guide will walk with you to the illustrious field of the miracles. See the cathedral, the baptistery and the famed leaning tower. Enjoy the scenery and have a pizza before we meet at the bus parking lot and continue our journey to our booked hotel in the heart of Tuscany. Our hotel belongs is a "Place of Charme", set in the beautiful region of Chianti. Check in and time to relax at the pool. This evening we'll enjoy a lovely evening in the oldest restaurant in Tuscany. This historical place will welcome us to taste the culinary and winemaking tradition.
DAY 4:
After a hearty buffet breakfast in our hotel, we are heading to Siena, the ancient rival of Florence and home of the famous Palio, the traditional horserace in medieval costumes. Our walking tour features the Basilica Di S. Francesco, the Palazzo Publico and the unfinished Dome, Santa Maria dei Servi. After enjoying a typical cappuccino at one of the most beautiful squares of Europe, the Campo of Siena, we depart for San Gimignano. Owing to the great number of clan towers this gem of Tuscany is often called the Manhattan of Italy. Time to stroll along the paved streets, go for some souvenirs or try the “best Italian ice cream”. Afterwards we drive to a Tuscan wine growing estate for a wine and olive oil tasting and some little snacks. Get yourself some typical Chianti wine and olive oil. Very comfortable - our hotel is just in walking distance of the winery.
DAY 5:
After breakfast, we will depart for a tour of Florence featuring the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Accademia, Piazza Signora, the Duomo and the Basilica Di Santa Croce – where we will find the tombs of Michelangelo, of Galileo and many other great personalities of the past. After free time for shopping, we can meet for a late lunch. Your tour guide will make suggestions. No visit of Florence without a stop at the Michelangelo Square. From this romantic place you can enjoy an amazing view of the city of Florence. A perfect location for great pictures.
DAY 6:
Breakfast and check out. Our way home will lead through Switzerland - one more scenic highlight with the breathtaking vistas of lakes and mountains. Late evening return to points of origin.

SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT: € 220 for 5 nights. Persons booked on share basis must pay single room supplement if no share is available (the single room supplement will be charged after the tour). Share basis means double or triple occupancy.

CHILDREN PRICE: Children age 3 - 11 pay € 50 less than adult price. Children under 3 pay € 450, an additional bed or crib must be paid to hotel.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BUS TOURS: up to 30 days prior to departure, € 100 per person; 29 - 14 days prior to departure 50% of the tour price will be charged; 13 - 7 days prior to departure 75% of the tour price will be charged; 6 - 3 days prior to departure, 90% of the tour price will be charged; from 2 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 100% of the tour price will be charged. NO REFUND FOR NOSHOWS!
