Romania – Transylvania
Visit Transylvania and join this exciting and imaginary tour to Dracula’s country
Day 1: Flight departure with Austrian Airlines from Frankfurt Airport at 10:20 am via Vienna to Sibiu, Romania. At 3:25 pm we will arrive at the airport of Sibiu and will be welcomed by our local English speaking guide. Afterwards we drive to Sighisoara and check in to our lovely downtown 4-star hotel. Dinner in the hotel. Afterwards you're invited to stroll along the streets of this beautiful illuminated UNESCO town.
Day 2: After breakfast we start with a sightseeing tour of the medieval town of Sighisoara highlighting the Clock Tower from the 14thcentury (which offers a great view over the citadel), The Church on the Hill and finally the birthplace of Vlad Tepes or Vlad the Impaler, known as Dracula. We then try different kinds of local Brandy’s before we drive to Biertan to visit the Church Castle Biertan followed by a wine tasting and a horse carriage ride through the village. Time to get ready and dressed for our Halloween dinner in the restaurant "Vlad Dracul" in Dracula's birthhouse. Count Dracula is invited to meet you!
Day 3: After breakfast we travel to Bran to visit the castle also known as Bam Stoker’s imaginary Castle of the Transylvanian Count Dracula. In the afternoon we drive to Brasov, one of the best preserved medieval cities of Europe. During our sightseeing tour we pay a visit to the gothic Black Church dating back to the 14th century and a landmark of the town. Evening return to Sighisoara with a dinner in our hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast and check out, we depart for Sibiu. After arrival we start with a sightseeing tour of the fortified town of Sibiu. The European Capital of Culture in 2007 has a lot to offer and has always been the center of a German minority since the middle ages. Flight back with Lufthansa via Munich to Frankfurt. Evening arrival (10:15 pm).

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES: Return flight with Austrian Airlines/Lufthansa Frankfurt - Sibiu - Frankfurt, all taxes and surcharges for the flight. One on hand luggage (max. 8 kg) and one check in luggage (max 23 kg). SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT: € 180 for 3 nights. Persons booked on share basis must pay single supplement after the tour if no share was available. Share basis means double or triple occupancy.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: valid US Tourist Passport for military and civilian personnel. Non US-citizens must meet proper Visa requirements.
CANCELLATION FEES: Up to 61 days prior to departure, € 100 per person; 60 - 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price will be charged; From 29 - 15 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 65% of the tour price will be charged. From 14 - 7 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 85% of the tour price will be charged. From 6 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 100% of the tour price will be charged. NO REFUND FOR NOSHOWS!
