CARNIVAL IN VENICE - LUCERNE
Itinerary (subject to change)
DAY 1:
Departure at 6:00 am from Landstuhl Autohof, bus parking lot (near Ramstein Air Base, parking fee € 5/day). Departure at 06:00 am from Wiesbaden, Hainerberg J.F.Kennedy Str., corner Washington Str. bus waiting area. Departure at 06:30 am from Kaiserslautern P+R parking lot Daennerplatz (near Kleber Kaserne); Departure at 09:00 am from Böblingen Panzerkaserne, PX parking lot. Daytime travel to Padua. Hotel check in.
DAY 2:
After breakfast in the hotel, we depart for VENICE, where we board a water-boat (included) and sail to the PIAZZA SAN MARCO. Here we start with a walking orientation tour to see the DUCAL PALACE, the ancient prison of Venice with the BRIDGE OF SIGHS, the BASILICA SAN MARCO and the CAMPANILE all gathered on the popular Piazza San Marco. Venetian glass blowers performing their ancient art will be another highlight after this tour. The afternoon is free for own activities. Enjoy the PARADE OF MASQUERADES in the streets of Venice. It is a must to have a camera here. Hundreds of different costumes are presented by people who are coming from all over the world. Have fun and share the spirit of the CARNE VALE with the other visitors and the Venetians. Probably you like to join a romantic GONDOLA RIDE on the canals of Venice. Enjoy an early dinner (included) in Venice before we depart by boat back to the bus parking lot and to our hotel.
DAY 3:
After buffet breakfast in the hotel (included) and check out we depart for LUCERNE, Switzerland. In the mid-afternoon we will arrive in this very well known and most picturesque Swiss town to see the famous Chapel Bridge and the Lions Monument. After some free time we depart for Germany in the late afternoon. Late night arrival at points of origin.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: valid US Tourist Passport for military and civilian personnel. Non US-citizens must meet proper Visa requirements.
HELPFUL HINTS: Currency in Italy is Euro €. A small pillow makes the journey more comfortable.
CANCELLATION FEES: Up to 30 days prior to departure, € 100 per person; 30-14 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price will be charged; 13- 2 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour price will be charged. From 1 day prior to departure until the day of departure, 100% of the tour price will be charged. NO REFUND FOR NOSHOWS!
