CINQUE TERRE with MANAROLA, VERNAZZA and RIOMAGGIORE - PISA - SIENA - SAN GIMIGNANO - LUCERNE
Itinerary (subject to change)
DAY 1: Departure from Wiesbaden, Washington Str. Str., corner JF Kennedy Str. bus waiting area (off post) at 06:00 am; Departure from Ramstein Shell Autohof, bus parking lot at 05:30 am (parking fee 5€ /day); Departure from Kaiserslautern, Park & Ride parking lot Daennerplatz (opposite Kleber Kaserne) at 06:00 am; Departure from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX parking lot at 08:30 am. Daytime travel via Lucerne - St. Gotthard - Lugano - Milano - to La Spezia . Meal stops en route. In the evening we'll check into our 4-star hotel.
DAY 2: After buffet breakfast, we will depart. Our bus will take us to the train station in La Spezia, from here we start with our Cinque Terre trip, where we will visit three of the five villages. Villages with narrow lanes, with old architecture, overlooking the picturesque marinas. We start with Vernazza, followed by Manarola and Riomaggiore. Your guide will be with you making suggestions for lunch and shopping. In the evening we return to the train station in La Spezia where our bus will be waiting for us to take us back to the hotel. The evening is at your leisure.
DAY 3: After breakfast in the hotel and check out we depart for Pisa. It is only an hour drive to the parking lot of Pisa. With your guide you will tour the Campo Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) with the Leaning Tower, the Duomo and the Baptistry. Here we have time to climb up the Leaning Tower and for lunch at one of the many restaurants. In the afternoon we drive to our family owned 4 star Charme Hotel in the heart of Tuscany. After check in we visit a nearby Tuscan wine estate for a wine and olive oil-tasting and some little snacks. Get yourself some typical Chianti wine and olive oil. Very comfortable - our hotel is just in walking distance of the winery. There is a wonderful osteria just opposite our hotel with a great collection of food and wine.
DAY 4: After buffet breakfast (included) in our hotel, we are heading to Siena, the ancient rival of Florence and home of the famous Pallio, the traditional horserace in medieval costumes. Our walking tour features the Basilica Di S. Francesco, the Palazzo Publico and the unfinished Dome, Santa Maria Dei Servi. After enjoying a typical cappucino at one of the most beautiful squares of Europe, the Campo of Siena, we depart for San Gimignano. Owing to the great number of clan towers this gem of Tuscany is often called the Manhattan of Italy. Time to stroll along the paved streets, go for some souvenirs or try the “best Italian ice cream”. Afterwards we drive back to the hotel to freshen up for our booked Tuscan Gala dinner, another chance to taste the renown Cuisine and the wine of the Chianti region and to enjoy the entertainment of opera singers and great musicians.
DAY 5: After breakfast in the hotel and check out we depart for Lucerne, Switzerland. In the mid-afternoon we will arrive in this very well known and most picturesque Swiss town to see the famous Chapel Bridge and the Lions Monument. After some free time for snacks and souvenir shopping, we begin our journey to Germany. Late evening / night arrival at our departure points.

SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT: € 280.- for 4 nights. Persons booked on sharebasis must pay single room supplement if no share is available (the single roomsupplement will be charged after the tour). Share basis means double or tripleoccupancy.

CHILDREN PRICE: Children 3-12 pay € 50,– less than adults. Children under 3 pay € 300,–.
CANCELLATION CHARGES for bus with hotel overnight trips: up to 30 days prior to departure, € 100 per person will be charged; 29-15 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price will be charged; 14-7 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour price will be charged; 6-3 days prior to departure, 90% of the tour price will be charged; 2 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 100% of the tour price will be charged! NO REFUND FOR NOSHOWS!
