Itinerary (subject to change)

Day 1: Flight departure with Austrian Airlines from Frankfurt Airport at 10:50 am via Vienna to Sibiu, Romania. At 3:25 pm we will arrive at the airport of Sibiu and will be welcomed by our local English speaking guide. Afterwards we drive to Sighisoara and check in to our lovely downtown 4-star hotel. Dinner in the hotel. Afterwards you're invited to stroll along the streets of this beautiful illuminated UNESCO town.

Day 2: After breakfast we start with a sightseeing tour of the medieval town of Sighisoara highlighting the Clock Tower from the 14^thcentury (which offers a great view over the citadel), The Church on the Hill and finally the birthplace of Vlad Tepes or Vlad the Impaler, known as Dracula. We then try different kinds of local Brandy’s before we drive to Biertan to visit the Church Castle Biertan followed by a wine tasting and a horse carriage ride through the village. Evening return to Sighisoara with a dinner in our hotel.

Day 3: After breakfast we travel to Bran to visit the castle also known as Bam Stoker’s imaginary Castle of the Transylvanian Count Dracula. In the afternoon we drive to Brasov, one of the best preserved medieval cities of Europe. During our sightseeing tour we pay a visit to the gothic Black Church dating back to the 14^th century and a landmark of the town. Late afternoon return to the hotel. Time to get ready for our Halloween dinner in the restaurant "Vlad Dracul" in Dracula's birthhouse. Count Dracula is invited to meet you!

Day 4: After breakfast and check out, we depart for Sibiu. After arrival we start with a sightseeing tour of the fortified town of Sibiu. The European Capital of Culture in 2007 has a lot to offer and has always been the center of a German minority since the middle ages. Flight back with Austrian Airlines via Vienna to Frankfurt. Evening arrival (6:40 pm).

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES: Return flight with Austrian Airlines Frankfurt - Sibiu - Frankfurt, all taxes and surcharges for the flight. One on hand luggage (max. 8 kg) and one check in luggage (max 23 kg). All transportation by deluxe motor-coach with WC, AC in Romania, 3 overnights in 4-star downtown hotel incl. hot buffet breakfast, all rooms with private facilities, 2 x dinner in the hotel (1.+2. day), 1 x dinner in the restaurant Vlad Dracul (3.day), city sightseeing tour of Sibiu, Sighisoara and Brasov, entrance fee Clock Tower, Church on the Hill, Church Castle Biertan, Bran Castle, Black Church, wine tasting in Biertan and brandy tasting in Sighisoara, local English speaking guide, Interra Reisen escort.

SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT: € 180 for 3 nights. Persons booked on share basis must pay single supplement after the tour if no share was available. Share basis means double or triple occupancy.
