05:00 am departure from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX parking lot. 06:00 am from Ramstein Shell Autohof (parking fee € 5 / day) bus parking lot. 06:30 am from Kaiserslautern, Park & Ride Parking Lot Daennerplatz (near Kleber Kaserne). 07:45 am from Wiesbaden, Hainerberg, J.F. Kennedy Str. bus stop (corner Washingtonstr. near new PX). After a stop for brunch on the Autobahn, we travel to the harbour of Amsterdam, Holland where we board our ship in the afternoon. There we check in to our outside cabins. Dinner, buffet style, on board included. Take advantage of the ship facilities in the evening!
After an hearty breakfast in the dining room of the ship (included) we arrive in Newcastle upon Tyne, England around 10:30 am. We check out, disembark and continue our voyage to Edinburgh, Scotland. After arrival, we learn more about the Capital of Scotland during our sightseeing tour. This splendid town is dominated by its Castle, towering over the gardens and shops of Princess street. We finish our tour with a stop for shopping at a Woollen Mill. Late afternoon check in at our downtown Hotel located near the famous Royal Mile of Edinburgh. For your evening entertainment your guide can arrange a Ghost tour (not included).
After breakfast (included) in our hotel, we start with a full day journey to Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands. This little town is one of Scotland's most beautiful places to visit. Your guide can take you on a walk to the Piltochry Dam and Fish Ladder, the Old Ferry Point and the Edwardian Suspension Bridge. Of course, you’ll also have the opportunity to taste a fine whisky in this town (extra). Afterwards we’ll visit Stirling Castle, home of Robert the Bruce (entrance fee included). Enjoy the castle and wonderful view from up here, see the William Wallace Memorial and the historic battlefield. Evening return to the Hotel.
After breakfast (included), full day free for own activities. Visit the nearby Scottish Museum, the Holyrood Palace, the Edinburgh Dungeon, the Royal Yacht, the Edinburgh Castle or have a typical English Tea time in the Dome. Your guide will help you with your planning. Your last evening in Edinburgh could be highlighted by a “Scottish dinner” with music and folklore. (extra)
After breakfast (included) you have free time for last minute souvenir shopping, before we leave Edinburgh by noon and travel to the harbor of Newcastle. Here we board our ship around 4:00 pm back to Holland and check in to our outside cabins. Dinner on board included. The evening is yours for fun and relaxation.
After a rich breakfast on board (included), we disembark at 10:00 am and return to Germany with a dinner stop en route. Evening arrival at points of origins.

SINGLE CABIN/ROOM: € 300 for 5 nights. Persons booked on share basis must pay single supplement if no share is available. Share basis means double or triple occupancy.
SUPPLEMENTARY COSTS: Ghost tour appr. £ 15 per person, Scottish Folklore show with dinner and drink £ 85 per adult / £ 55 per child, whisky tasting in Pitlochry appr. £ 15 per person, personal expenses, tips.
CHILDREN’S PRICE: Children 3 through 12 pay € 50 less on adult’s price. Children under 3 pay € 500, additional bed or crib must be paid to hotel and no bed on ship.
DOCUMENTS: Valid US Tourist Passport for military and civilian personnel. Non US-citizens must meet proper Visa requirements.
CANCELLATION CHARGES 2023: Up to 45 days prior to departure, € 100 per person will be charged; 45 - 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price will be charged; 29 - 15 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour price will be charged; 14 - 7 days prior to departure, 85% of the tour price will be charged; 6 days until day of departure 100% of the tour price will be charged.
