Itinerary (subject to change)
DAY 1: Evening check in at the international Airport Frankfurt Terminal 1. We fly direct with Discover (Star Alliance - Lufthansa group) overnight to Windhoek, Namibia (9:55 pm – 08:10 am+).
DAY 2: Windhoek – Otjiwa Private Game Reserve (app. 240km on tarred road – app. 4 hours driving time)
After arriving at Windhoek International Airport we will do our last minute shopping before we depart at around 11:00 AM from Windhoek via Okahandja. During the afternoon, we will have a game drive on one of the first private nature reserves in Namibia. Overnight at Otjiwa Safari Lodge with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 3: Otjiwa Lodge - Rundu (Hakusembe River Lodge) (app. 575km on tarred road – app. 7 hours driving time)
Today we will have a long drive ahead of us. After an early breakfast, we will depart at 8:00 AM. During the course of the journey, we will pass the small towns of Otjiwarongo, Otavi, Grootfontein and eventually arrive in Rundu. Halfway through the journey we will find a nice local place to have lunch (excluded). During the late afternoon, we have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Kavango River. Overnight at Hakusembe River Lodge with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 4: Rundu – Mahangu (Divava Okavango Resort & Spa) (app. 230 km on tarred road – app. 3.5 hours driving time)
We depart early from Rundu. We will drive along the Kavango River and through local villages with traditional living. Cattle, donkeys and goats share the road with us and the speed is limited. Our lodge is located right on the banks of the Okavango River. During the afternoon, we plan to visit the Popa Falls, which are rather rapids than falls. The vicinity with lush vegetation is special. Overnight at Divava Okavango Resort & Spa with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 5: Divava Okavango Resort & Spa
During course of the morning we will do a game drive inside the Bwabwawata National Park
(Mahango Core Area) with our game-view vehicles. We will encounter antelope and with a bit of luck
elephant and buffalo. During the the late afternoon, we will have a fun-filled boat cruise on the Okavango River. We aim to see crocodiles, hippopotamus and a rich birdlife. The birdlife in this area is exceptional, with over 400 species recorded. Species that can possibly be seen are the Pel’s fishing owl, the White-backed night
heron, the African skimmer and many more. Overnight at Divava Okavango Resort & Spa with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 6: Mahangu - Kwando River (Lianshulu Lodge) (appr. 250 km on gravel road - app. 4.5 hours driving time)
After breakfast we drive through the famous Caprivi Strip towards the Kwando River. We will arrive for lunch (lunch excluded). During the afternoon, we will join a game drive along the Kwando River. This is one of the most unexplored areas in Namibia and wildlife is abundant. Elephants are often seen in big herds.

DAY 7: Kwando River - Botswana (app. 280 km on gravel and tarred road – app. 4 hours driving time)
Today we will cross the border at Ngoma from Namibia into Botswana. After breakfast, we will
depart at 08:30 and have time to visit the Mafwe Living Museum and learn about the cultural side of the
people. We drive via Katima Mulilo towards the border of Namibia and Botswana and continue along the
Chobe River to our establishment of choice. Overnight at Jackalberry Tented Camp with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 8: Botswana - Chobe National Park
A full day of activities awaits us in this well-known Park rich in biodiversity. We are joining a game-drive in open vehicles during the course of the morning and a boat cruise on the Chobe River during the afternoon. We will see many different African mammals, like elephant, various antelopes and hopefully buffalo and lion. The avifauna is incredible and we may encounter the African fish eagle on its hunting mission. Overnight at Jackalberry Tented Camp with lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 9: Botswana Kasane - Zimbabwe / Victoria Falls (app. 150 km on tarred road – app. 3 hours driving time)
We depart after breakfast and will cross the border into Zimbabwe and continued to the city Victoria Falls.
After a short break, we will visit the famous Victoria Falls and the surrounding rain forest. It is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Where we will have a walk through the rain forest and have beautiful opportunities for great photography. Later during the day we will join a Sunset Boat cruise on the Zambezi River. Overnight at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 10: Zimbabwe / Victoria Falls
After breakfast, everyone is completely free and allowed to do any excursion they want. Activities such as Scenic flights over the Falls, River rafting, Bungie jumping, Fishing, Guided Hiking and much more are available. In the Afternoon, we will have our last sunset alltogether followed by an extremely special experience for dinner: Called the ‘’Boma Dinner’’. This is a truly African Experience, with local food, local music and a true African atmosphere. Overnight at the Elephant Hills Hotel with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 11: Victoria Falls
Our Safari will come to an end today. Depending on your flight schedule we will depart towards the Airport for your departure flight.
DAY 12: Morning arrival at Frankfurt Airport at 05:35 am.

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES: International direct flight with Discover Lufthansa Group to Windhoek (FRA-WDH 9:55 pm – 08:20 am+). Return flight with South African and Lufthansa from Victoria Falls (VFA-JNB 2:20 pm – 4:05 pm and JNB - FRA 7:00 pm - 05:35 am+) via Johannesburg to Frankfurt, all airport and security taxes, meals on board, one check in luggage (23 kg), transportation according to our program. Safari in a small group – with a qualified English speaking safari-guide in each safari vehicle. Accommodation and meals: 9x overnight at lodges, 9x breakfast, 9x dinner. All excursions listed above are included. All entrance fees according to the program, mineral water during travel times, porter fees, all rooms/chalets with private facilities, wifi, access to a pool.
SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT: € 900 for 9 nights. Persons booked on share basis must pay single room supplement if no share is available (the single room supplement will be charged after the tour). Share basis means double or triple occupancy
SUPPLEMENTARY COSTS: any additional activities, all lunches during your safari, visa fees for Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, beverages, tips, personal items and insurances, laundry.
