DAY 1:
Departure from Böblingen Panzerkaserne, PX parking lot at 8:00 pm. Departure from Ramstein Shell Autohof, bus parking lot (parking fee extra) at 9:45 pm. Departure from Kaiserslautern, Daennerplatz P&R parking lot (opposite Kleber Kaserne) at 10:15 pm. Departure from Wiesbaden JF Kennedy Str. corner Washington Str. bus waitiing area (off post) at 11:30 pm. Overnight travel via Hannover to Hamburg.
Day 2:
After enjoying a hearty breakfast (not included), we arrive in Hamburg, where we begin our day with a delightful sightseeing tour of the city’s highlights. Following the tour, you will have free time for shopping and a relaxing lunch at one of the local restaurants. Later, we check in to our modern 4-star hotel in the heart of the city. In the afternoon, join us for an exciting harbor boat tour (extra), where you’ll get to experience Europe’s largest inland port from the water. As evening approaches, you’ll have free time to visit the charming Historical Christmas Market in front of the iconic Hamburg Town Hall, just a short walk from our hotel.
Day 3:
After a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will head to one of Hamburg’s most impressive attractions: the Miniatur Wunderland, the world’s largest model railway (extra). Located in the UNESCO-listed Speicherstadt district, this miniature world is a must-see for visitors of all ages. Afterward, we’ll have a lunch break before traveling to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lübeck. Once there, a local guide will lead us on a fascinating walking tour, showcasing the city’s medieval charm and UNESCO World Heritage status. Our tour will conclude at the famous Niederegger Marzipan Shop, where you can indulge in a piece of Lübeck’s renowned marzipan and explore a wide variety of Christmas decorations, toys, and unique gift ideas. In the evening, we’ll return to Hamburg, where you can relax at the hotel or, if you're in the mood for some nightlife, visit the famous Reeperbahn, Hamburg’s lively red-light district.
Day 4:
For early risers, we recommend a visit to the Hamburg Fish Market, open from 07:00 to 09:30 am every Sunday. This bustling market draws crowds from all over, with lively market barkers competing for attention and a variety of last-minute Christmas gifts on offer. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before we check out and begin our journey back to the starting points. On the way, we’ll stop for a meal at a rest station, with a late evening arrival back at the points of origin.
This itinerary offers a perfect balance of sightseeing, festive fun, and local experiences—making your Christmas market getaway unforgettable!
