DAY 1:
Late evening departure from Böblingen Panzerkaserne, PX parking lot at 9:00 pm. Departure from Ramstein Autohof (Shell Gas station € 7 parking fee/day), bus parking lot 9:45 pm. Departure from Kaiserslautern P&R Parking Lot Daennerplatz (near Kleber) 10:15 pm. Departure from Wiesbaden, Hainerberg J.F. Kennedy Str., corner Washington Str. bus stop (near new PX) at 11:30 pm.
DAY 2:
Sit back, relax, and enjoy a comfortable overnight journey via Kassel, Hanover, and Hamburg as we head north toward the port city of Kiel. We’ll make regular stops along the motorway for your convenience. By morning, we arrive in Kiel where you'll have free time to enjoy breakfast at one of the charming local bakeries – a perfect way to start the day. Afterwards, take your time to stroll through the city, browse the shops, and soak in the festive atmosphere at the beautiful Kiel Christmas Market. With its twinkling lights, wooden stalls, and seasonal treats, it's a delightful way to begin your holiday. Later, we regroup and head to the cruise terminal, where we begin boarding the impressive Color Line Ship. From the moment you step on board, your holiday truly begins. Whether you’re looking for excitement or relaxation, Color Line Ship has something for everyone: unwind in the spa, make a splash in the water world, try your luck at the casino, or explore the shops. In the evening, enjoy live music in one of the stylish bars or admire the view from the observation lounge. Your first evening on board includes a delicious Christmas buffet dinner (included), followed by a spectacular show – the perfect start to your festive getaway.
DAY 3:
After a relaxing night on board, we arrive in the beautiful Norwegian capital of Oslo in the morning. Get ready for an exciting day filled with culture, history, and stunning Scandinavian charm. Our day begins with a guided city tour, giving you the perfect introduction to Oslo’s most famous sights. See the striking Royal Palace, the impressive Parliament Building, and the bustling Karl Johans Gate, Oslo’s main shopping street. We’ll pass by the modern Opera House, with its unique architecture rising from the fjord, and drive through the Vigeland Sculpture Park, home to over 200 fascinating sculptures by Gustav Vigeland – a true highlight of the city. Along the way, your guide will share interesting stories and facts about Oslo’s past and present, from Viking roots to contemporary Nordic lifestyle. After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore the city at your own pace. Whether you choose to visit one of the world-class museums on Bygdøy Peninsula, enjoy coffee in a cozy café, or take in the views of the Oslofjord, there’s something for everyone. In the late afternoon, we check in to our downtown hotel. Time for your own or join your guide. Your guide will make suggestions for a nice dinner in vibrent and welcoming Akers Brygge, a nice harbor quarter of Oslo with lots of shops and restaurants.
DAY 4:
After a generous and delicious buffet breakfast, followed by check-out from your hotel room, you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the magical atmosphere of Oslo one last time. Take a leisurely stroll through the beautifully decorated Christmas market, where charming wooden stalls offer traditional Norwegian handicrafts, seasonal treats, and unique gifts – perfect souvenirs to remember your Nordic holiday. Later, we return to the ship and begin boarding for our journey back. As we set sail, take in the stunning scenery of the Oslofjord, with its calm waters and snow-dusted landscapes – a true winter postcard come to life. Or, if you prefer to stay indoors, enjoy a relaxing walk along the ship’s impressive 160-metre-long promenade, offering views, shops, and cozy spots to unwind. In the evening, look forward once again to a festive Christmas buffet dinner (included), featuring a wide selection of seasonal and international dishes to enjoy in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Feeling lucky? Try your hand in the ship’s well-equipped casino, where you’ll find slot machines and classic games gathered in one stylish location – the perfect way to end a memorable day.
DAY 5:
After enjoying a final delicious buffet breakfast on board, take a moment to relax and soak in the beautiful scenery as the ship glides through the Kiel Fjord, marking our return to Germany. The peaceful morning light over the water provides the perfect backdrop for reflection on the wonderful memories made during your holiday. Once we have docked in Kiel, it's time to disembark. Our team will be waiting to greet you and guide you to the coach for the return journey. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the comfortable drive back to your original departure points – hopefully with your heart full of festive cheer and unforgettable impressions from this magical trip.
