This journey to Germany’s capital over New Year promises not only unforgettable celebrations but also a deep dive into one of Europe’s most dynamic and diverse cities. From its iconic landmarks to its unique neighborhoods, Berlin offers the perfect backdrop for a fresh start and a memorable beginning to the year.

DAY 1:
Departure from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX parking lot at 05:00 am. Departure from Wiesbaden Hainerberg, Washington Street corner JF Kenned Street bus waiting area (off post) at 07:45 am. Departure from Ramstein Shell Autohof at 06:00 am (€ 7/day parking fee). Departure from Kaiserslautern, Daennerplatz P+R parking lot at 06:30 am. Today, we set off on a scenic daytime journey to Germany’s vibrant and historic capital, Berlin. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch break at a comfortable stop – a great opportunity to stretch your legs, enjoy a meal, and take in the changing landscapes. In the afternoon, we arrive in Berlin and begin our exploration with a visit to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks: Checkpoint Charlie. This former border crossing between East and West Berlin is a powerful symbol of the Cold War era. Here, you’ll have time to visit the Wall Museum (optional, entrance fee not included), where fascinating exhibits tell the dramatic and often moving stories of people who risked everything to escape from East to West. From homemade hot-air balloons to hidden compartments in cars, you’ll see the real objects used in these daring escapes. Afterwards, we make our way to our hotel and check in. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Whether you’d like to take a gentle stroll through the city, enjoy a cozy dinner, or explore some local culture, your guide will be happy to offer tips and recommendations to help you make the most of your first evening in Berlin.
DAY 2:
After enjoying a generous buffet breakfast at the hotel (included), we begin our exciting day in Berlin. This morning, we’re joined by a knowledgeable local guide who will take us on a fascinating sightseeing tour of Germany’s capital city (included). We start by driving along Berlin’s historic boulevard, "Unter den Linden", lined with grand buildings and cultural landmarks. Our first highlight is the Brandenburg Gate, one of Berlin’s most famous symbols of unity and peace. From there, we continue through the government district, passing the striking Reichstag building, home to the German parliament, and the modern Chancellor’s Office. Next, we head towards the western part of the city to see the iconic Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, a poignant reminder of the destruction of World War II. Just nearby, we’ll drive along the Kurfürstendamm (known locally as the Ku’damm), Berlin’s most famous shopping street, full of vibrant energy, cafés, and elegant stores. Our tour then takes us to some of the most historically significant sites in Berlin’s center: the moving Holocaust Memorial, a powerful tribute to the victims of the Holocaust, and the nearby location of Hitler’s former bunker. We’ll make a short stop at Potsdamer Platz, once a no-man’s land during the Cold War, now a bustling hub of modern architecture and urban life. In the late afternoon, we return to the hotel, where you’ll have some time to relax and freshen up before the evening’s festivities. Tonight, you're free to explore Berlin on your own, but we’ve arranged a special dinner at a charming local restaurant, where you can enjoy a taste of Berlin’s cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. After dinner, the celebration continues! The Gendarmenmarkt Christmas market in Berlin on New Year's Eve is a festive and magical experience. Surrounded by stunning architecture, the market is filled with twinkling lights, the scent of mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and traditional German treats. Visitors enjoy live music, unique crafts, and cozy fire pits. As midnight approaches, excitement builds for the New Year celebration, with fireworks lighting up the sky at the stroke of twelve. It’s a warm, lively atmosphere perfect for ringing in the new year.

DAY 3::
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026! After last night’s unforgettable celebrations, enjoy a relaxed morning and take your time at the hotel’s extensive buffet breakfast (included). There’s no rush today – take the opportunity to sleep in, recharge, and reflect on the incredible moments we’ve shared in Berlin. In the late morning, we check out of our hotel and begin the final part of our Berlin experience with a special treat: a visit to the Panorama Café. Here, we’ll raise a glass of Sekt (German sparkling wine) to toast the New Year together (included). From the café’s elevated viewpoint, you’ll enjoy panoramic views across the Berlin skyline – a perfect way to say goodbye to this fascinating city. Afterwards, it’s time to say “Auf Wiedersehen” to Berlin and begin our journey home. On the way, we’ll make a dinner stop at a pleasant restaurant (meal not included), giving you one last chance to relax and enjoy the company of your fellow travelers. We expect a late evening arrival at our original departure points – filled with memories of a festive and inspiring start to the New Year.
