This renowned brewery, known as the birthplace of the world-famous Pilsner beer, offers an exciting tour of its brewing house, historical cellars, and the impressive cylindroconic tanks. After exploring the brewery’s rich history, we’ll enjoy a refreshing beer tasting (entrance fee and tour included), savoring the unique flavors of Pilsner beer directly from the source. Following our visit, we depart for the Czech capital, Prague. Upon arrival, we check in to our comfortable 4-star hotel, where you’ll have some time to rest and unwind after the day’s journey. In the evening, we invite you to join an optional boat ride on the Vltava River (not included), offering a picturesque view of the illuminated city. As we cruise along the river, enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and drinks onboard, all while taking in the stunning sights of Prague's historic landmarks, beautifully lit up against the night sky.
DAY 2:
After a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel (included), we embark on a fascinating walking tour through Prague, starting with the magnificent Hradčany district, home to the renowned Prague Castle. As we explore the castle grounds, you’ll be captivated by the Golden Lane, a charming cobbled street lined with colorful historic houses. We’ll also visit the stunning St. Vitus Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, and the grand Presidential Palace, offering picturesque views and rich history. Our walk continues to one of Prague’s most iconic landmarks, the Charles Bridge, a 14th-century stone bridge adorned with statues of saints, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Vltava River. We then make our way to Staré Město (Old Town), where we’ll admire the impressive Jan Hus Monument in the heart of the square, dedicated to the famous Reformer. Don’t miss the Glockenspiel at the Old Town Hall, a medieval clock that puts on a charming show every hour, and the majestic St. Nicholas Church, a Baroque gem with awe-inspiring frescoes and architecture. After the tour, enjoy some leisure time for lunch (not included) at your own pace. You’ll have the opportunity to shop for local souvenirs or discover the nearby Jewish Quarter (Josefov), home to the historic Old Jewish Cemetery, synagogues, and museums that offer a deep insight into Prague’s Jewish heritage. Later in the evening, your guide will provide suggestions for an unforgettable Bohemian evening (not included), where you can enjoy folklore dances, lively entertainment, and traditional live music. It’s a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Czech culture, food, and hospitality.
DAY 3:
After a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel (included) and check-out, we begin our journey from Prague to Karlovy Vary (also known as Karlsbad), a picturesque town nestled in the heart of Bohemia. This charming spa destination, renowned for its natural thermal springs, has been a popular health and wellness retreat for centuries. Today, Karlovy Vary remains one of the largest and most famous spa towns in the Czech Republic, attracting up to 100,000 visitors annually. Once we arrive, you’ll have the chance to explore the beautiful town, famous not only for its healing waters but also for its Bohemian Crystal, a craft tradition that has been perfected in the region for centuries. In addition to crystal, you can discover other local specialties, such as the Becherovka, a distinctive herbal liqueur that has been brewed in Karlovy Vary since the 19th century. Don't forget to try the town’s iconic Karlovy Vary Oblaten, thin, crispy biscuits available in a variety of delicious flavors—perfect for a sweet treat as you explore. After a leisurely stroll through this charming spa town, we’ll stop for lunch (not included), giving you some time to enjoy the local cuisine or relax in one of the cozy cafés by the river. In the afternoon, we’ll bid farewell to the Czech Republic and begin our journey back to Germany. The drive will take us through the scenic countryside, and we anticipate arriving at points of origin in the late evening.
