Day 1
We depart from Frankfurt International Airport (Terminal 1) at 09:25 AM on our Lufthansa flight to Athens. Please arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure for check-in. Upon arrival in Athens, our comfortable coach will take us directly to our hotel. After check-in, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy your welcome drink by the rooftop pool, soak in the first views of the city, or begin exploring at your own pace.
Your tour escort will be happy to offer suggestions for a local dinner this evening.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off on a half-day guided tour of Athens, including the famous Plaka district and the iconic Acropolis, standing proudly for over 3,000 years. From its hilltop perch, the Acropolis dominates the skyline of the city. We’ll visit its most important landmarks: the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike, all part of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just below lies the Areopagus (Mars Hill), steeped in mythology and history. The afternoon is yours to explore Athens at your leisure. In the early evening, we’ll gather for a special Greek night in the Plaka, complete with dinner, wine, music, and traditional folklore dancing!
Day 3
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day excursion (included). We begin with a stop at the impressive Corinth Canal, a marvel of 19th-century engineering. Next, we visit Epidaurus, home to one of the best-preserved amphitheatres in the world, known for its incredible acoustics. We continue to the charming coastal town of Nafplion, where you can stroll through its quaint streets, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the evening, we return to Athens. Your evening is free – your escort will gladly provide suggestions for dinner or entertainment.
Day 4
The cruise to the three magical Greek treasures Hydra, Poros and Aegina in the Saronic Gulf is not just an excursion, but an experience you will never forget. Come on board and experience the harmonious combination of Greek hospitality and multicultural coexistence. Enjoy Greek hospitality and entertainment - you will dance and sing on the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and enjoy the sun, our delicious food and delicacies. We sail to HYDRA with its cobbled streets, its architectural beauty that has remained untouched for centuries as well as the traditional means of transport of the island, the donkeys, will captivate visitors at first sight. Enjoy a stroll and discover the historical monuments. The green island of POROS, with an unsurpassable natural beauty and thousands of pine trees spreading from the steep and sandy beaches, makes the island romantic and peaceful. The historical AEGINA, which took its name from the beautiful nymph abducted by Zeus. Aegina is known all over the world for the delicious pistachios, the beautiful beaches, the Aphea Temple and the Saint Nektarios Monastery.
Day 5
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel. You may store your luggage at the hotel and enjoy a few more hours in Athens before we transfer to the airport in the early afternoon.
Our return Lufthansa flight departs at 6:25 PM, arriving back in Frankfurt at 8:30 PM.
