Day 1:
Early evening check in at the international Airport Frankfurt Terminal 1. We fly direct with Condor to Cape Town 9:55 pm – 10:45 am+).
Day 2:
You’ll arrive in Cape Town in the morning, where you'll be warmly welcomed at the airport. From here, we’ll take a scenic drive to your charming boutique guest house in Somerset West – a peaceful town nestled between mountains and vineyards. After check-in, you’ll have some time to settle in and freshen up. Later, we’ll meet up and head to a beautiful nearby wine estate, where you'll enjoy a relaxed welcome drink, a delicious lunch, and your first taste of South Africa’s world-renowned wines – the perfect way to begin your journey!
Day 3:
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we set off for a full day of exploring Cape Town, the vibrant heart of the Western Cape region. Our first stop is a bustling local market, where you can soak up the lively atmosphere, browse unique crafts, and maybe pick up a special souvenir. From there, we stroll through the peaceful and historic Company’s Garden, a lush green oasis in the center of the city. Nearby, we visit the iconic St. George’s Cathedral, a place of deep significance in South Africa’s history and the final resting place of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, whose ashes are interred here. Next, we head to one of Cape Town’s most photographed areas – the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood. Nestled at the foot of Signal Hill, this area is rich in culture and history, with its cobbled streets and brightly painted houses creating a truly unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, we take an exciting cable car ride up the world-famous Table Mountain. As the cable car rotates, you’ll enjoy a stunning 360° view of the city, coastline, and surrounding mountains. Once at the top, you’ll have some free time to explore, take in the breathtaking views, and snap unforgettable photos. To end the day, we make our way to the glamorous Camps Bay – a favorite spot for both locals and visitors, nestled between palm-lined beaches and the dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range. You’ll have some free time here to relax by the ocean or enjoy dinner at one of the many beachfront restaurants before we head back to our guest house for the evening.
Day 4:
This morning, after a relaxing breakfast in the peaceful garden of our guesthouse, we begin a scenic journey to one of South Africa’s most iconic landmarks – the Cape of Good Hope, located at the southern tip of the Western Cape Peninsula. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs, and rolling hills. Once we arrive at the Cape of Good Hope, you’ll have time to take in the awe-inspiring scenery from the rocky promontory, where the Atlantic Ocean crashes into the shoreline. It’s a place full of natural beauty and fascinating maritime history – a perfect photo opportunity and a moment to simply take in the power of nature. For lunch, we’ll enjoy a relaxed picnic by the water in the heart of the Cape of Good Hope National Park, surrounded by unspoiled landscapes and perhaps a few curious local animals keeping an eye on us from a distance. In the afternoon, we make our way to the charming Boulders Beach, famous for its soft white sand, turquoise water, and its most adorable residents – the African penguins. This is the only place in the world where you can get so close to these charming creatures in their natural habitat, and watching them waddle along the beach is sure to be a highlight of the day. To end our scenic journey, we’ll travel along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive – one of the most spectacular coastal roads in the world. As we wind along the cliffs high above the Atlantic, you’ll be treated to truly breathtaking views that make this drive unforgettable. We return to Somerset West in the evening, where a delicious dinner awaits, bringing this beautiful day to a close.
Day 5:
After a relaxed breakfast, we head to Cape Town’s harbor, where our journey across the bay to Robben Island begins. This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds deep historical significance, having served as South Africa’s most notorious maximum-security prison during the apartheid era. Upon arrival, we join a guided tour led by former inmates or expert guides who will share powerful and personal stories about the island’s past – especially the time Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners spent here. Walking through the prison grounds, including Mandela’s former cell, is a moving and unforgettable experience that brings history to life in a profound way. In the evening, get ready for something completely different – a joyful and vibrant African cultural experience! We begin the night with an interactive drumming session, where everyone is invited to join in and feel the rhythm. Laughter and energy fill the room as the drums set the tone for the evening ahead. Then, it’s time to indulge in a 14-dish African feast, showcasing the rich and diverse flavors of the continent. From traditional South African favorites to dishes inspired by West and North Africa, there's something delicious for every palate. The highlight of the evening is a spectacular dance and music performance – full of color, energy, and passion. You’ll be amazed by the talent on stage, the infectious rhythms, and the incredible storytelling through song and movement. The atmosphere is electric, and the performers' joy is absolutely contagious. After this magical evening filled with culture, flavor, and rhythm, we return to our guest house with hearts full and spirits high.
Day 6:
Today, we set off on a delightful wine tour through some of South Africa’s most renowned wine regions. Our journey takes us to two carefully selected wineries, each offering a unique setting and story. Here, you’ll have the chance to taste a variety of exquisite wines, including the country’s celebrated MCCs (Méthode Cap Classique – South Africa’s own sparkling wine), all paired with delicious local cuisine. The majestic vineyard landscapes, framed by mountains and rolling hills, create the perfect backdrop for this indulgent experience. Next, we make a special stop at the Franschhoek Motor Museum, a true gem for car lovers and history enthusiasts alike. This private collection showcases more than a century of motoring history, with beautifully preserved vintage, classic, and modern vehicles that reflect the evolution of automotive design and innovation. In the afternoon, we head to the charming town of Stellenbosch, one of the oldest towns in South Africa. With its rich blend of Dutch and French colonial architecture, oak-lined streets, inviting cafés, stylish boutiques, art galleries, and souvenir shops, Stellenbosch is a pleasure to explore. You’ll have some time to wander, shop, or simply enjoy a coffee while soaking up the town’s vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. As the sun begins to set, we make our way to a beautiful wine estate nestled in the valley. Here, we’ll enjoy a memorable dinner with breathtaking views over the vineyards and surrounding mountains – a perfect ending to a day filled with taste, culture, and scenic beauty.
Day 7:
After breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to one of the world’s most stunning green spaces – the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Nestled on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, this UNESCO-listed garden is a true celebration of South Africa’s rich and unique plant life. You’ll have time to stroll along the beautifully landscaped paths, admire rare and indigenous flora, and maybe even walk the famous "Boomslang" tree canopy walkway for panoramic views of the gardens and surrounding mountains. From the lush greenery of Kirstenbosch, we make our way to Bloubergstrand – a wide, windswept beach with soft white sand and dramatic ocean views. This is one of the best spots to capture iconic photos of Cape Town and Table Mountain, with the deep blue Atlantic in the foreground and the mountain standing majestically in the distance. In the afternoon, it's time for a bit of leisure and shopping. We head to the lively V&A Waterfront, Cape Town’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination. Located in a historic working harbor, the Waterfront offers something for everyone – from designer boutiques and local crafts to vibrant restaurants, cafes, and cultural attractions. You’ll have plenty of free time here to shop, explore, or simply relax by the water with a drink or a snack. As the day winds down, we enjoy an early dinner at the Waterfront before the perfect finale to our Cape Town adventure: a Champagne Sunset Cruise. We board our boat and set off along the breathtaking coastline as the sun begins to dip below the horizon. With a glass of sparkling wine in hand and the golden light reflecting off the ocean, this magical cruise offers unforgettable views of the city, Table Mountain, and the surrounding landscape – a truly special way to end the day.
Day 8:
This morning, after a relaxed breakfast and check-out from our guesthouse, we begin a scenic journey through the breathtaking Bain’s Kloof Pass, one of South Africa’s most beautiful mountain routes. As we make our way via the charming town of Ceres, the landscape gradually transforms—from lush valleys to wide open plains—leading us deep into the wilderness. By early afternoon, we arrive at a private game reserve set between the majestic Langeberg and Outeniqua Mountains. Upon arrival, we’re warmly welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink, followed by check-in to our luxurious premier rooms—each offering sweeping views of the vast reserve and its untamed beauty. After a delicious lunch, it’s time for one of the most anticipated moments of the trip: our first Safari Game Drive. Led by an experienced and passionate guide, we venture into the heart of the African bush in open vehicles. Keep your camera ready as we track iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and many other incredible species. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights about the animals, ecosystems, and conservation efforts that make this region so unique. Back at the lodge, take some time to relax by the pool, enjoy a cocktail from the poolside bar, or simply soak in the tranquil surroundings. In the evening, a generous buffet dinner awaits at the reserve’s exclusive guest restaurant—featuring local flavors, hearty dishes, and elegant South African hospitality. To end this memorable day, you’re invited to join a Stargazing Safari. Away from city lights, the sky here reveals a dazzling display of stars. Gaze up at the Milky Way in all its glory, learn about constellations from your guide, and experience the quiet magic of the African night sky—an experience you won’t soon forget.
Day 9:
Don’t miss this! Rise early this morning for one last unforgettable adventure—a second Safari Game Drive through the reserve. As the sun begins to rise over the African bush, the wildlife is most active, offering an entirely different experience from the day before. With a bit of luck, you might spot animals you haven’t seen yet, or observe new behaviors in the early morning light. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to the wild heart of South Africa. After returning to the lodge, enjoy a relaxed breakfast while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere one last time. Then it’s time to check out at 10:30 AM and begin our scenic drive back to Cape Town. We travel over the Hex River Pass, passing vineyards and dramatic mountain landscapes, through the historic town of Worcester, before arriving at Cape Town International Airport. In the evening, we board our direct Condor flight to Frankfurt, departing at 6:15 PM. As we take off, we leave with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and stories that will last a lifetime.
Day 10:
Arrival at 06:25 am at Frankfurt International Airport.
