Get ready for an unforgettable adventure through Morocco’s royal past and timeless charm.

Itinerary (subject to change)

DAY 1:

Early morning check-in at Frankfurt International Airport, Terminal 1. We will be flying with Discover (Lufthansa Group) from Frankfurt to Marrakesh, Morocco (flight time: 10:55 AM - 2:45 PM). Upon arrival, we’ll meet our local guide and proceed with a scenic drive to our 5-star hotel resort. Upon check-in, we will be traditionally welcomed with Moroccan tea. After some time to freshen up, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2:

After a delicious buffet breakfast at our hotel and check-out, we begin our journey to Rabat, a city that captivates every visitor with its unique charm and historical significance. Known for its stunning beauty, Rabat boasts the impressive Kasbah, perched high above the city, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Our first stop is the Royal Palace, where we’ll admire its grandeur from the outside, followed by a visit to the unfinished Hassan Tower, an iconic symbol of the city, which stands as a testament to the ambitions of its creators. We will also explore the peaceful Oudaya Kasbah, a tranquil retreat with narrow streets and a rich history. The highlight of the day will be the magnificent Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II, a masterpiece of brilliant white marble that honors two of Morocco’s most revered kings. After our inspiring exploration, we’ll check into our hotel, where you can relax and unwind before enjoying a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant.

DAY 3:

After enjoying a hearty buffet breakfast at our hotel and checking out, we set off for Meknes, a city enveloped by colossal walls that echo the grandeur of the mighty Sultan Moulay Ismail, who left an indelible mark on its history. As we enter this imperial city, we will marvel at the magnificent Bab Mansour gate, widely regarded as the most monumental in Morocco, a true testament to the architectural mastery of the era. Next, we visit the tomb mosque of Moulay Ismail, a serene and sacred place, where the Sultan himself rests in peace. A stroll through the bustling souks will immerse you in the vibrant sights, sounds, and scents of this historic marketplace, where time seems to stand still. After a delightful lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant, where you can savor local delicacies, we’ll take a brief wander through the lively bazaar before continuing our journey to Fes, one of Morocco's most enchanting cities. Upon arrival, we’ll check in at our hotel, where you’ll have some free time to relax and unwind before enjoying a flavorful dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.

DAY 4:

After a hearty buffet breakfast at our hotel, we will embark on a journey to discover Fes, the oldest and most significant of Morocco’s four royal cities. Step into a world where history and tradition come alive in the labyrinthine alleys, vibrant souks, and timeless mosques of the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981. Our adventure begins with a drive to the Borj Sud lookout point, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city, where the centuries-old architecture and bustling streets unfold before your eyes. From here, we will dive deep into the heart of the Medina, strolling through its enchanting and lively alleys. As we wander, you’ll encounter the fascinating quarters of various craftsmen: the carpenters, dyers, tanners, tailors, and chasers, with the sounds of the coppersmiths’ constant hammering filling the air. Along the way, we will visit the sacred Zaouia (mausoleum) of Moulay Idriss, a place of reverence, before marveling at the historic Kairouan Mosque (viewed from the outside), one of the oldest mosques in the Arab world. We will also explore the Medersa Attarine, an exquisite example of Islamic architecture, and the famous tannery and weaving mill, where the art of leather production and textile weaving has been passed down for generations. Our tour concludes with a visit to the Mellah, the former Jewish quarter, followed by a view of the Royal Palace (from the outside). After a day filled with cultural immersion, we return to our hotel for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay in Fes.

DAY 5:

After a delicious buffet breakfast at our hotel and check-out, we continue our journey, leaving Rabat behind as we head towards the vibrant city of Casablanca. Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided tour to explore this renowned metropolis, often hailed as the gateway to Africa. Our first stop is the Houbous quarter, the “new Medina,” which was constructed by the French in 1923, offering a unique blend of traditional and colonial architecture. We’ll also visit the Church of Notre Dame de Lourdes, a serene place of worship, before heading to the Mahakma, the former residence and court seat of the Pasha. Completed in 1956, this stunning building is a remarkable reproduction of an Andalusian-Moorish palace, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and intricate details. As we continue along the Corniche Ain Diab, we will arrive at the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque in the world after Mecca. This architectural masterpiece stands as the crown jewel of Casablanca, with its towering 200-meter-high minaret and a 30-kilometer-long laser beam that shines brightly across the city at night. (Interior tour optional.) The mosque is not only an impressive sight but also an important cultural symbol for the city. After the tour, we’ll check into our hotel, where you’ll have some time to relax. In the evening, we will enjoy an early dinner at the iconic Rick’s Café, a charming homage to the legendary film Casablanca, offering a truly unique dining experience. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

DAY 6:

After breakfast and check-out, we begin our journey to Marrakesh, the vibrant Oasis city set against the stunning backdrop of the High Atlas mountains. Nowhere else in Morocco does one experience such a perfect blend of African and Oriental influences as in Marrakesh. The city is dominated by the sight of around 100,000 palm trees that surround its walls, creating a striking contrast with the red clay buildings. With its lively souks, the palm oasis setting, and desert city feel, Marrakesh offers a truly unique atmosphere. Upon arrival, we’ll check in to our hotel before heading to the heart of the city — the old town. Here, we’ll wander through the bustling souks, the largest in the country, where the vibrant colors, exotic scents, and lively exchanges will capture your senses. As the afternoon turns to evening, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the famous Djemaa el Fna square, where the soul of the city comes alive. This square, a perpetual carnival of life, is at its most animated between afternoon and dusk. You'll encounter musicians, acrobats, storytellers, snake charmers, and an endless array of entertainers, all contributing to the unique, folkloric atmosphere of this enchanting space. After a day of exploration, we’ll return to our hotel for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7:

After a delicious buffet breakfast at our hotel, we’ll set out to explore the wonders of Marrakesh. Founded in the 11th century, this captivating city is home to some of the finest examples of Hispano-Moorish architecture, with cultural treasures spanning from the 11th to the 19th century. Our tour will take us to the Koutoubia Mosque, a stunning masterpiece of Moorish design (viewed from the outside), as well as the tranquil Menara gardens, the majestic El Badi and Bahia Palaces, and the impressive Bab Agnaou, the oldest of the city's gates. After the tour, enjoy some free time in the afternoon to relax or explore at your own pace. In the evening, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner at a charming traditional Moroccan restaurant in the Medina, where you can savor the rich flavors of local cuisine. Overnight at our booked hotel.
