DAY 1:
Morning departure at 07:00 am from Landstuhl Autohof (near Ramstein Air Base, € 7/day). Departure from Kaiserslautern, P+R parking lot Daennerplatz, near Kleber Kaserne at 07:30 am. From Wiesbaden Hainerberg, JF Kennedy Street corner Washington Str. (bus waiting area) at 07:00 am. From Böblingen Panzerkaserne, PX parking lot at 10:00 am. Drive through Germany via Nürnberg to the Czech Republic. Afternoon arrival in the Golden City. After we checked in to our 4-star Hotel, you’ll have time to rest and to relax. In the early evening we can join a boat ride (not included) on the Vlatava (Moldau) river with buffet dinner and drinks on board to enjoy the illuminated city of Prague.
DAY 2:
After buffet breakfast in the hotel (included) we start with our culinary city tour. Spend the entire day strolling along unusual paths through the Czech capital, learning interesting facts about traditional recipes, famous cafés and beer halls, and stopping frequently for a tasting or at a market stall. To start, we'll indulge in the cliché and begin with a cold beer and a typical Bohemian beer snack. At lunch, you'll peek into the chefs' pots and choose a hearty main course. Of course, something sweet is a must for the next stop, and a stop at a wine bar is on the agenda. If you're still hungry in the evening, you'll have received plenty of tips during the day to continue your culinary journey through Prague at your own pace.
DAY 3:
This morning we will leave Prague. After buffet breakfast (included) and check out we drive to Krumau (Cesky Krumlov) into the Heart of South Bohemia. Here we'll explore this picturesque beauty. Our tour leads through the narrow, winding streets of the historic old town up to the castle, which towers high above the Vltava River. Crossing the multi-story Cloak Bridge, you'll pass the castle theater and reach the castle gardens, which is a lovely place to relax. Afterwards we drive to Budweis (Ceske Budejovice) and check in to our 4-star hotel. Our booked hotel is situated directly in the centre of the town, in a quiet area by the Malše River. The history of the building goes back to the 14th century when a grinding mill used to be located here. The hotel finds itself within walking distance (1 min) of the main square of Přemysl Otakar II. This evening we arranged a 3-course meal in a typical Boehmian beer hall.
DAY 4:
After buffet breakfast in the hotel (included) and check out, we'll take a tour through the historic city center of Budweis with its numerous sights around the square market. This square-shaped square counts itself as being one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. After free time for lunch and last minute souvenir shopping, we depart and leave the Czech Republic driving back to Germany. Arrival late evening.

SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT: € 180 for 3 nights. Persons booked on share basis must pay single room supplement if no share is available (the single room supplement will be charged after the tour). Share basis means double or triple occupancy.
SUPPLEMENTARY COSTS: Boat ride with dinner and drinks included (appr. € 50 per person), personal expenses, tips.
CHILDREN’S PRICE: Children under 2 years pay € 250. children 2-11 receive a € 30 discount.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Valid US Tourist Passport for military and civilian personnel. Non US-citizens must meet proper Visa requirements.
CURRENCY: Czech Kronen may not be brought into the country! Exchanges can be made in the country.
CANCELLATION FEES: up to 30 days prior to departure, € 100 per person will be charged; 29-15 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price will be charged; 14-7 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour price will be charged; 6-3 days prior to departure, 90% of the tour price will be charged; 2 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 100% of the tour price will be charged! NO REFUND FOR NOSHOWS!
